Outerly is a web and mobile app that connects like-minded people by matching users with groups for outdoor activities. From the start, Outerly stressed the challenges of creating a cohesive experience for multiple customer profiles and infusing the brand personality into functional product features. There was an overwhelming amount of directions as to where to take the brand and how to make it stand out amongst the sea of social media platforms. This is why Outerly sought our expertise at Moox to launch their MVP by creating a complete brand and product experience.

Our goal was clear: encourage users to create detailed profiles, reduce friction within the application’s functions, and implement the brand strategy into the complete UX/UI experience. Moox crafted the brand messaging, positioning, visual identity, custom illustrations, brand guidelines, and UX/UI demonstrations. This resulted in a clear connection between what Outerly promotes on its marketing and social media promotions is being executed in the product’s features and benefits. After our engagement and their team’s product development, Outerly acquired 400+ beta participants; 28K+ waitlist signups & email subscribers. The team was relieved to have a clear direction for the UX/UI and excited to build a loyal user community.
